This Cancellation Policy explains how to cancel your services with Core Books Accounting LLC and what happens when you do. It should be read together with our Terms of Service and Refund Policy.
Our monthly plans are month-to-month. You are not locked into a long-term contract and may cancel at any time in accordance with this policy.
To cancel, email [email protected] or call 1-844-944-9858. So we can wrap things up cleanly, we ask for at least 14 days' notice before your next billing date.
Your plan remains active through the end of the current paid period. We will complete any work covered by fees you have already paid, and no further monthly charges will be made after that period ends.
Any unpaid fees for services already performed, including one-time or catch-up work, remain due at the time of cancellation.
On request, we will provide copies of your books and records and help hand over access to your accounting or payroll software. We retain records only as required to meet legal and professional obligations, as described in our Privacy Policy.
If you only need a short break, ask us about pausing your plan rather than cancelling, we're happy to find an arrangement that works for your business.
You're always welcome back. If you return after cancelling, a brief re-onboarding or catch-up may be needed to bring your books up to date, and standard fees for that work may apply.
